This one is the Semipalmated
or "ring-neck" Plover. The semipalmated type have incomplete webbing on
their feet. They are found in small flocks along the beaches, often sleeping
during the day.

Common Tern

Tern shows plumage in the winter, while in the summer (as pictured) his
head becomes dark black, and his beak reddish.
